PUNK ROCK ANARCHY IN AN A-LEVELS SETTING

Working with renowned theatre director and writer Kate Wild, we performed 'Punk Rock' by Simon Stephens. Working with our vocal coach Ros Williams to emobdy the British accent and taking on the character of Cissy, a socially ascendant and savvy ringleader amongst the student cohort, was an exciting process where I was challenged to grow as a performer.

Performed at QUT's The Loft theatre Punk Rock transported audiences to the setting of a prestigious British private school where the anxieties of the affluent's young elite were laid bare as they prepared for their mock A-Levels. A play with a delicate blend of comedy and tragedy, Stephen's writing was a pleasure to spend so much time with and incredibly enriching for me as a performer.
