Lauren is an American/Australian actor, writer, and creative producer based in Meanjin (Brisbane). A recent graduate of QUT’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting), Lauren has also undertaken training at AFTRS, NIDA, and The Improv Conspiracy.
Her versatile career spans stage, screen, and digital mediums, where she has established a compelling voice in the performing arts industry. Scenestr praised Lauren as a performer with “brilliant comic-timing.”
Her stage and screen credits include Monarch: Legacy of Monsters for Apple TV+, Aria by David Williamson, and performances at Noosa Arts Theatre and Metro Arts. Lauren’s comedy play Call Girls received critical acclaim at Brisbane and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, earning the highly selective Adelaide Fringe Artists Fund award. The play was later adapted into a web series, now streaming on YouTube, and became an official selection at Melbourne Web Fest.
Internationally, Lauren performed in Art of Courage at Teatro Della Pergola in Florence, Italy. Locally, she has collaborated on independent theatre and film projects such as Playlab’s creative development for Kill the Dog.
Lauren’s writing has featured in festivals as well as in publications like IBIS Zine. As a creative producer, she has contributed to works like Rowan’s Story, a new Australian play by an AWGIE-winning writer. She has also produced independent theatre festivals, such as Fresh Blood for Vena Cava.
As a storyteller, Lauren is driven to create bold, culture-changing work that forges connections and shifts paradigms.
